The stainless steel-clad wooden door is made by first cutting solid wood framing and multi-layer board substrate, then cutting and grooving them according to the design dimensions, and finally sanding and leveling them to form the basic frame of the door leaf. Sound-insulating honeycomb material is then filled in to improve the stability and sound insulation of the door leaf. The surface of the substrate is finely sanded and dust-removed, and then primed and dried to ensure a smooth and clean surface.
304 stainless steel sheets are selected and processed through shearing, bending, and trimming to match the four sides and curvature of the wooden door. An environmentally friendly adhesive film is then applied to the inside of the stainless steel using a laminating machine. Through a vacuum heat-coating process, the stainless steel sheet is tightly bonded to the surface of the wooden door substrate under high temperature and pressure, eliminating hollow areas and warping.
After the wrapping is completed, the edges are trimmed, the welds are ground and polished, the gaps in the door frame are treated, and hardware openings such as sealing strips, hinge grooves, and lock holes are installed. Finally, surface stains are cleaned, a protective film is applied, and the door undergoes load-bearing and airtightness tests. Only after passing these tests can the door be packaged and shipped. The overall process combines the texture of wooden doors with the practical characteristics of stainless steel, such as rust resistance, scratch resistance, and easy cleaning. It is often used in commercial projects, hallways, and entrances.
